How does it work?

On this page, we have compiled answers to commonly asked questions when planning a trip to Dom Lardy.

Rules of Dom Lardy

We trust you and respect your privacy. To make everyone feel comfortable, we ask that you observe the Dom Lardy rules:

  • We observe silence after 10 p.m. Our village is a particularly sweet place to sleep.
  • We leave our cars in the common parking lot in front of the grounds and do not drive up to the doors of our houses or tents. If needed, your bags will be carried to your rooms.
  • We dispose of rubbish in the bins and we are being especially careful in the bathrooms. All buildings in the estate are equipped with a local septic tank.
  • We do not smoke indoors. There are ashtrays on the premises.
  • We take our street shoes off when indoors. You can bring your favourite slippers with you or use ours.
  • We treat water like a precious gift. All the water in our house comes from wells. The water undergoes a multi-stage filtration process and can be drunk directly from the tap. But sometimes the well water may not be enough, so we ask you not to let the water flow from the tap just for fun, for example by turning off the water while brushing your teeth. And by reducing your showering by just a minute, you can save more than 10 litres of water!

Settlement hours

Check-in is possible from 3 pm, check-out before 12 pm.

If you arrive early and your room is already vacant and ready to receive new guests, we will be happy to accommodate you. However, early check-in and late check-out can be granted at half night price charge.

If your room is not ready yet or you have already vacated it but don't want to leave Dom Lardy, you can always leave your belongings at the reception, have a warm drink, go on a walk, relax in the common area or on the veranda. You have also the option of paying for a late check-out.
